This year, the cruise is looking to be bigger than ever with the addition of three "Pit Stop" locations along 28th Street. At these hot spots you can see lots of stationary cars (car show style). Open hours are 2 pm-9 pm on Friday, 11 am-9 pm on Saturday. The Metro Cruise event has been attracting attendees from all over Michigan since 2005 and has since been a spot for car folk to talk and debate over their respected rides. The event has drawn thousands in the past. This year, a couple of new opportunities are available for car enthusiasts in attendance.
The two main event locations are back again for 2023 with all sorts of food, music, events and attractions. This year, the Metro Cruise will feature two "Main Event" locations on 28th Street. The heart of the Metro Cruise is throughout the Roger's Plaza parking lot.
The official times for the event are 2 p.m. On Saturday, but it isn't unusual to see classic cars cruising down 28th Street all weekend long. There will also be 25 food trucks and concessionaires, five local bands, kids activities, the Miss Metro Cruise Finale and more.
